CURLS AND COCO: HOW TO KEEP THAT SUMMER GLOW ALL YEAR!

Happy first week of September my loves!! So excited for fall in New England, but not exactly ready for the cold weather and faded tan. But a perfect pick-me-up is GORGEOUS, GLOWY SKIN! Here are my favorite beauty products to achieve that stunning sheen all year long!

Cream Products:

Cream products are my essential during these hot summer days, but also as we transition into colder months it helps keep moisture into the skin. As opposed to sitting on top of your skin like a powder, a cream product will melt into your skin creating a dewy & natural look! My favorite!

A Cream Shimmer Blush is honestly iconic for a "fresh off the beach" look...a little sun-drenched from the hot sun from laying out with your toes in the soft sand as you sipped a cold drink on a tropical beach...I can picture it now!!! (As I sit in my desk on this boring day LOL).

This product is SO good. So creamy and blendable!! It looks superb with a little bronzer. Dab this on your cheekbones and blend with your ring finger. It is that easy, and let me tell you, you will look GORGEOUS!

Cream Bronzer & Highlights

I highly recommend the Fenty Beauty Match Stix. Not only are they fabulous quality and last all day and night, the packaging is fantastic because they are magnetic so they stick together easily in your makeup bag! Cream bronzer is such a great option for summer because it won't look muddy on your face because it is highly blendable. The highlight is also great and highly pigmented, as are all the Fenty Match Stix. There are dozens of more highlight colors available based on your preferences and skin tone.

Liquid Highlighter

I loved this liquid highlight for years! Benefit's High Beam is the perfect pearl highlight that is SO easy to apply and extremely blendable. It looks great on tanned skin but also fabulous on fair skin so this can transition perfectly into the winter time too. This product is definitley something you should pick up at Sephora because there are so many places you can apply it to your face. I apply it on the tops my cheekbones, tip of my nose and the cupids bow above my lips. It is gorgeous!! and photographs beautifully. #InstagramApproved. Below I photographed a swatch of the product without being blended out and then next to it I put one dot blended out. So you can really see how a little goes a long way with this product!

Powder Highlighters

If you love to glow I highly recommend purchasing a high-quality powder highlighter. You can apply these with a small powder brush, a fan brush or even an eyeshadow blending brush. I recommend Anastasia Beverly Hill's famous Glow Kit in the shade "That Glow". It has a great combo of really diverse colors that can work for any type of glow you are going for! It looks absolutely radiant on the skin and the product is so buttery soft! I also recommend the Fenty Beauty Killawat highlighter's because they are extremely nice quality and blend beautifully. These come in fun colors and different intensities of shimmer...For example, the duo I own has a more muted shade and a more shimmery shade. Which is perfect depending on how blinding I want my highlight.
